Derrydale is introducing a unique 12-hole executive design for public play. In looking to the future, Derrydale went back almost 200 years in time to where golf originated in Scotland. There, the fabled Prestwick Golf Course began as a 12-hole layout.
The quote posted above by legendary Jack Nicklaus is slowly coming true. While Derrydale is the first to provide a 12-hole golf outing west of Toronto, there are a few 12-hole courses in eastern Canada and several in the southern United States.
